A hexagonal die, which you can use like a gyro, for generating random numbers.

For generating two random numbers in a new way, join the rectangular-shaped die with anyone of the six bore holes over the conical shaft of the hexagonal die, while it is rotating.

The rectangular-shaped die begins right now also with a common rotating.
When the two components start together wobbeling, the rotating stops soon and the hexagonal die gets to lie down on a table, respective the rectangular-shaped die gets out of the conical shaft and lies also after a short time on the table.

Now each die shows you the random numbers, you have created. The hexagonal die must be made of a material with a higher density as the rectangular-shaped die, to realize a low center of gravity.

Proposal:
Material of the hexagonal die: aluminium or plastic with a higher density.
Material of the rectangular-shaped die: wood or plastic with a lower density.
In a combination of aluminium (density 2,7 g/cm^3) and wood (density 0,8 g/cm^3),
the calculated center of gravity lies round about 3 millimeters above the middle of the ball, respective round about 15.5 millimeters above the table plane.

If you want to try out and watch the combination of rotation and translation movements with real made parts, please use a dice board with a smooth bottom surface and a relative high wall.

Other wise it could be, that you have to search the one or the other, or both of the dice on the floor!

Enjoy, if you try out.
